What weight of paper should I buy?
Paper is measured in gsm (grams per square metre). If you’re looking for everyday paper to keep your photocopier/printer topped up, a 80gsm weight will be suitable. The heavier the weight of paper you use, the better quality finish it will have so if you’re doing a presentation document you might prefer a heavier weight for the front cover (look for around 90-120gsm) or if you’d prefer card look for around 140-180gsm.
You can also buy speciality papers (inc. coloured, metallic finishes, watermarked etc.) for those extra special projects.
