Paper Sizes
Our paper sizes are based on the International Standard ISO 216.
ISO paper sizes are worked out from the ratio of the square root of 2
or 1:1.4142. The starting point for paper sizes is A0 paper which is a
piece of paper of area 1 metre squared. Every size down from this being
half the previous size or the size of the larger piece folded along the
centre of its longest half. Most offices and businesses use the size A4.
